After my graduation from Highschool I didn't really know what to do. Both of my parents are Graphic Designers, which kind of eliminated that profession from my personal "Top 10 of the best jobs in the world".
Tough luck that drawing has always been my favorite pastime. My second favorite pastime was reading. EVERYTHING. My favorite author Carson McCullers finally drove me towards studying American Literature at the Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich. After 5 years of reading I finally came to the conclusion, that I indeed loved American literature, but that I didn't like the jobs my studies qualified me for.
I wanted to draw and design and illustrate. Meantime I've grown older and was able to get over the whole "ahh-I-don't-want-to-be-like-my-parents" thing. So in 2008 I started studying communications design at the Akademie U5, Munich, and graphic designer is finally the nr°1 of my personal "Top 10 of the best jobs in the world". Yay!
To be an astronaut would be cool too, though.
